Rosery Flowers is an award winning, 120 year old flower shop in the heart of the Hudson Valley. We are committed to serving our community by helping customers celebrate life’s moments with beautiful and personal floral designs. We are looking for an experienced floral designer willing to share their art and reliably help grow an evolving, local, heritage brand.

The ideal designer is equal parts creative heart and flexible team player. An excellent attention to detail and customer care is a must as we strive to deliver joy one unique design at a time.

Job Responsibilities & Attributes:

• A passion for floral design and awareness of current and future floral trends
• Ability to consistently create floral designs for a variety of occasions and customer tastes while meeting delivery and cost of goods requirements
• Effective at interpreting client needs and servicing custom accounts
• Ability to handle a range of floral techniques from in-store, hand-tied bouquets to large, onsite wedding installations
• Strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of self-motivation with an ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
• Desire to share expertise and develop new product offerings

Qualifications:

• Floral design experience in a high volume studio, floral shop or similar (Required)
• Customer service (Preferred)
• Ability to support weekend or seasonal peak periods
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Demonstrated proof of vaccination status

Floral Shop Assistant

Rosery Flowers is an award winning, 120 year old flower shop in the heart of the Hudson Valley. We are committed to serving our community by helping customers celebrate life’s moments with beautiful and personal floral designs. We are looking for ongoing part-time and seasonal support in our studio florist shop. A passion and understanding of floral helpful, but willing to support the growth of interested reliable, enthusiastic and customer service centric team players.

Job Responsibilities & Attributes:

• Assist floral designers
• Welcome and respond to customer requests
• Process customer orders over the phone and onsite
• Maintain store and workshop organization
• Process flowers to assist designers and extend floral health
• Support seasonal store transitions and related set-up
• Monitor inventory and manage restocking

Qualifications:

• Positive attitude
• Passion or interest in floral design
• Basic computer skills and comfort with retail checkout process
• Organizational skills and willingness to maintain shop integrity
• Strong customer communication and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated proof of vaccination status
